Delete your data

TempoGo by BZOTech has no user accounts, so there is no account to delete. Here is how to remove every kind of data the app may hold.

Workouts and settings on your device

Your routines, workout history and settings are stored only on your phone. To delete them permanently:

  1. Android: open Settings › Apps › TempoGo › Storage and tap Clear storage, or simply uninstall the app.
  2. iPhone: touch and hold the TempoGo icon, tap Remove App › Delete App.

This cannot be undone unless you have a Google Drive backup.

Google Drive backup

If you used the optional backup, the backup file lives in a hidden app folder in your own Google Drive. To delete it:

  1. In TempoGo, open Settings › Data and tap Delete backup & disconnect. This deletes the backup file, revokes TempoGo's access and signs you out.
  2. Or, on the web, open Google Drive › Settings › Manage apps, find TempoGo and choose Delete hidden app data.
  3. You can also remove TempoGo's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Advertising ID

Ad partners receive your device's advertising ID. You can reset or delete it at any time:

  • Android: Settings › Privacy › Ads › Delete advertising ID (wording may vary by device).
  • iPhone: TempoGo does not request tracking permission. You can keep Allow Apps to Request to Track turned off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Analytics and crash data

Usage statistics and crash reports are collected without your name or email and are deleted automatically according to the retention settings of Google Firebase. If you would like us to delete this data sooner, email [email protected] with:

  • The subject "TempoGo data deletion request"
  • Your device model and operating system (Android or iOS)
  • The approximate dates you used the app

We will confirm your request and process it within 30 days. Because this data is not tied to an account, we may not be able to identify every record that relates to you, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Purchase records

Purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, which keep their own records. To manage them, use your Google or Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your Remove Ads purchase; you can restore it if you reinstall.
